Anne Serling delivers a smashing new cover for the second printing of Submitted For Your Approval, which features a story of mine. I think this cover is great, as it captures the feel and tone of the books published by Rod Serling Books.

A nice birthday present landed in my lap this morning…
Three of my most acclaimed short stories will be put together in one publication, and will be published later this year for Kindle.
The stories are “Slipping Sideways“, “Repeat Performance” and “A Woman of Light and Steel.”
The cover is done by the fantastic and famous cover artist Richard Wagner.
I’ll update you when it is released.
The Rocket Science anthology was officially launched in London. Although I could not make it, I heard the book made a big splash and sold out. The book is now available from Mutation Press or Amazon. I have a copy and it looks great! And the stories are very, very good.
The book also earned a very positive review in The Guardian, with Eric Brown calling it ‘superb’ and mentioning the ‘standard is very high’. Since I am in the book I am, of course, happy about that. Read the review at The Guardian.
So what are you waiting for? Go buy a copy!
I have just heard that editor Ian Sales has picked up my story, “Slipping Sideways”, for the new anthology, Rocket Science. I am particularly happy because I will be sharing the TOC with friend and author Stephen Gaskell. Rocket Science will be released in 2012 and will be published by Mutation Press. Back in 2010 Mutation Press published the acclaimed book Music for Another World, and featured some great writers. I am glad to be in this next anthology. Buy the first anthology, and pick up Rocket Science when it comes out.
