Rod Serling Books and Me

My story, “Slipping Sideways”, has been chosen by Anne Serling, daughter of Rod Serling, for inclusion in a Twilight Zone-like anthology coming out this fall from Rod Serling Books. She calls my story “a standout”.

New Review of Rocket Science

Good reviews for Rocket Science seem to be pouring in. This one comes from Geek Chocolate. While the reviews so far have mentioned that the standard of writing and storytelling is high, I finally get mentioned in this review. It is a small mention, but I’ll take it. I particularly like the word “splendid” being used. Sorry if I am gloating, but I don’t often get the chance.

Here is the blurb: “Equally radical is Slipping Sideways by Carmelo Rafala, a splendid example of how to tell a big story in a small space, pulling in parallel universes, betrayal, loss and second chances in five pages.”

Buy Rocket Science for the brilliant stories inside. Purchase from Mutation Press for faster service than Amazon (surprisingly).
